My first craft show in 27 years!

At the time, I was working as a ceramist and making my own pottery. It was a very fulfilling job—I loved being able to create beautiful pieces that people adored and appreciated. But then my children reached high school, I stopped making my own pottery. I became busy with raising them and didn’t have time for anything else. 

It wasn’t until recently that I decided to return to my happy place: creating handmade jewelry!

It’s been a lot of fun getting back into the swing of things, but it’s also been a little intimidating. It’s been so long since I’ve done anything like this that I was worried about what people would think of my work.

But once I got over my fears and put myself out there, I found that people really loved my pieces! 

I knew that there were still many people who loved handmade products, so I decided to start selling my jewelry at local craft fairs. After doing some research, I found out about the 27th Holiday Craft Fair at Mariner High School within Mukilteo School District. Over 120 handmade and commercial vendors will be present at the event. 

Not only does this event benefit students in the Mukilteo School District by providing scholarships for graduating seniors, but it also supports small business owners like myself who want to continue growing their businesses while supporting their community!
