Issaquah Salmon Days

October 4 @ 10:00 am - October 5 @ 6:00 pm

Issaquah Salmon Days has become a cherished tradition for families over the years. At the core of this celebration is the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, where thousands of salmon make their annual return each autumn to spawn in Issaquah Creek. The hatchery provides complimentary tours and informative sessions about the vital role of salmon in our ecosystem. To enhance the educational and environmental efforts of the hatchery, Salmon Days has introduced a variety of attractions that encourage visitors to spend the entire weekend enjoying the festivities!

A highlight of the event is the beloved Kiwanis barbecue, along with the Grande Parade, which showcases over 100 entries, such as floats, clowns, marching bands, equestrian displays, school groups, and dance troupes. This year’s festival boasted more than 50 food vendors offering international cuisine and around 300 juried arts and crafts exhibitors, in addition to 65 non-profit organizations. With 36 musical acts performing across three stages, attendees can enjoy lively entertainment, while a new Farmers Market featuring 30 produce booths adds to the experience. Families will find plenty of free activities in the Field of Fun, including inflatables, games, entertainment, and Hamster Balls. A carnival kicks off early Friday and runs into the evenings on both Saturday and Sunday at one end of the venue. Additionally, there’s a 5K run organized by the Rotary on Sunday morning.
